Our trips are designed to foster community. Shared rooms (double occupancy) are the default option, and we encourage them as a way to build lasting friendships and shared memories during the experience.
Shared room arrangements will be made based on your preferences noted in your registration form once all spots are locked in.
However, we understand if you prefer your own space. A private room (single occupancy) upgrade is available for an added cost of USD $400, applied evenly across installments after the deposit.

If it doesn’t work out, don’t worry. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel by Sept 10, 2025 (minus processing fees). To cancel, email contact@selarati.com.
You will be automatically enrolled in a payment plan. The remaining balance will be split into two automatic installments as follows:
Payment 1: 50% of remaining balance - Oct 1, 2025
Payment 2: 50% of remaining balance - Nov 1, 2025

Trip Inclusions & Exclusions

Accommodations: A blend of comfortable 3-4 star hotels for 9 nights in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Siem Reap, carefully selected based on location (smoke free, including swimming pool + varying amenities)
Meals: Welcome & Farewell Dinner, some other meals will be included based on the itinerary (May include: Apsara show dinner, breakfast buffets, local breakfast/lunch)
Note: These are subject to changes as the itinerary is still being finalized.
Local Guides: Private historical tours & experiences with local guides in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Siem Reap + Khmer to English interpretation
Transportation: All transfer between cities and in each city
Tickets: Entry to cultural sites, museums, and Angkor Wat
Guidance: Along with the tour guides, Sela will guide you through each step of this journey, from exploration to group reflection + sharing circles

International Flights: Arrival and departure flights to Phnom Penh & airport transfers are not included. All flights should be booked through Phnom Penh (Techo International Airport (KTI)).
Meals: Beyond the group meals included in the itinerary (TBD), you’ll have the freedom to discover Cambodia’s food scene for yourself. From local eateries and street food stalls to modern dining spots in the major cities. This flexibility allows you to choose what you want to match your personal taste and budget. And don’t worry, if you don’t know where to go. Sela will provide you with her own recommendations!
Travel Documentation and Insurance: Travel visas are mandatory which you can apply for online or get upon arrival at the airport (subject to changes by the government at any time). Travel insurance is required to cover medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and emergency care. Coverage with non-medical evacuation is strongly encouraged. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to departure. Participants without insurance assume full responsibility for all risks.

We will ask you to provide a short self-introduction/bio, which will be shared with other confirmed participants to help everyone get to know each other before the trip. In addition, some responses (for example, what people are most excited about or hope to gain from the experience) may be shared anonymously with the group to help shape the experience and build connection.

If cancelled by the participant:
On or before Sept 10, 2025 (11:59PM EST): Deposit (USD $500) is refundable, minus processing fees.
Sept 11 – Oct 4, 2025 (60 days before trip): Deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments made will be refunded, minus administrative and processing fees.
Oct 5 – Nov 3, 2025 (31–59 days before trip): 50% of the total trip cost will be forfeited. The remainder (if paid) will be refunded, minus administrative and processing fees.
Nov 4 – Dec 3, 2025 (30 days or less before trip): 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued.
No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused services once the trip begins.
To cancel your trip registration, send an email to contact@selarati.com including your full name, email, and reason for cancellation. We will get back to you as soon as possible with next steps.

Administrative Fees: These fees cover the costs associated with managing the cancellation and refund process.
Processing Fees: These fees cover charges imposed by the payment processor and banking institutions for processing refunds, which can vary depending on the method of payment originally used.

International flights to and from Phnom Penh, Cambodia are not included in the trip price. All flights should arrive and depart from Techo International Airport (KTI). (This is the new international airport replacing Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH), effective after Sept 9, 2025) Don’t worry - all flights will be automatically routed to the new airport when booking.
A travel visa for Cambodia is mandatory and must be obtained by participants before the start of the trip. The tour is limited to 15 participants to ensure an intimate and supportive group environment to engage with each other and the country. This trip aims to foster meaningful and hopefully lifelong friendships. The minimum group size to operate this trip is 8 participants (subject to change). If the December 2025 trip is canceled due to not meeting the minimum number of participants, we will provide a refund of your deposit, minus any processing fees.

Room Assignment: Room assignments will be made based on the preferences you list in your registration form (so be sure to fill this section out with care). We will do our best to accommodate your preferences and ensure your comfort. If there are any issues with your room assignment, we will do our best to address them promptly and provide a suitable solution.

Yes, you can opt out of certain activities. However, there is no reduction in the tour price or refunds for missed activities. Optional activities and add-ons may be available at additional costs.

Additional costs include meals (mostly lunches and dinners except where explicitly mentioned), alcohol, and personal expenditures like souvenirs and optional activities. Subject to change based on itinerary.

Yes! You will receive a day-by-day itinerary of all tours and activities in advance for your own personal planning and packing! Please understand that some details are subject to changes before or during the trip.

Yes! We will host an online orientation session to get to know each other, review the detailed itinerary, set group expectations, cover logistics, and have a Q&A. A Telegram group chat will also be created for quick and smooth communications and provide a way to connect with one another before the trip.
