About AKKHE
A 10-day immersive group journey through Cambodia for Khmer diaspora to reconnect with the motherland, ourselves and each other.
Hosted and designed with love by me, Sela (@priscillakimong), A Koun Khmer Homecoming Experience is a rare chance to visit the homeland and rediscover our Khmer identities with koun Khmer from around the world.
We return to our roots, history, and the flavors that shaped us and land where our stories began.
Whether you’ve visited Cambodia before or are dreaming of your first time, I created this experience for those longing for reconnection, to culture, to community, and to home.
This isn’t your typical family trip to Srok Khmer. It’s a homecoming where you’ll uncover new parts of yourself and create a lifelong Khmer community of your own.
On this journey, we travel from Phnom Penh to Battambang to Siem Reap, and back.

“This experience with Sela truly gives you the safe space to connect, reflect, and deepen your understanding of Cambodia, and most importantly, what Cambodia means to you.”
